Panini Kabob Grill in Del Mar

I was compensated to visit Panini Kabob Grill and write this review, however all experiences are true and my own.

Panini Kabob Grill in Del Mar Highlands

Hey loves! Wow, it’s been a minute since I wrote in the ol’ blog, huh? *blows dust off* Well, it’s good to be back and I’m so excited to be writing this post about my trip to Panini Kabob Grill in Del Mar Highlands!

First of all

Del Mar is one of the most beautiful places in San Diego County. It’s a little bit of a ways from my place in Hillcrest, but I always love going up there to “get away” from the typical San Diego life. Funny enough, I’ve actually been to this shopping center before! Louie and I went to a screening of a movie at Cinépolis a few months ago, and I was super impressed with all the shops and restaurants around! Best yet, Panini Kabob Grill is right across from Cinépolis! You can catch lunch (or dinner) and a movie in one convenient spot!

Del Mar Highlands also has a bunch of other cool boutiques surrounding the restaurants and theater. Not to mention, a few photo ops for the active social media users!!

Mediterranean Food in San Diego

isn’t too hard to come by, luckily. I actually became super obsessed with Mediterranean food in college. I ate only Greek salad for like 2 weeks straight once hahaha #collegelife. So it’s an understatement to say I was stoked to try out Panini Kabob Grill.

When Louie (my boyfriend!) and I arrived, we were kindly greeted by the hostess. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was so beautiful out! We were seated outside which I was excited about. I got the menu and was surprised by how extensive it was! There is definitely something for everyone here whether you’re a traditional panini fan, or you’re a little more on the wild side and are open to trying something unique and new..

Did I mention

the massive serving sizes? Oh my gosh. Louie was in the bathroom when the food came out and I literally texted him, “wait til you see your plate”. He got the plate on top with the ginormous steak kabob and I opted for a panini with a side salad. Oh my gosh guys, this did not disappoint! It’s some of the best, most fresh Mediterranean food I’ve had in awhile.

I loved the variety of the menu. That’s something you don’t get very often from a Mediterranean restaurant in San Diego. I loved that they had paninis and wraps as well as the healthier and cleaner options like the skewers and salads.

I honestly

can’t wait to go back! There are so many things on the menu that I want to try, not to mention explore the rest of Del Mar Highlands after a healthy, hearty meal! I can’t recommend this place enough. Fresh, clean, delicious food that you can taste is so rare these days. If you’re near a Panini Kabob Grill or have been considering trying the new Mediterranean restaurant out, I vote YES!
